
Museum Park Ibaraki Prefecture Nature Museum
A nature museum of Ibaraki Prefecture, located on the banks of Sugao-numa, one of the largest natural environment conservation areas in Ibaraki Prefecture, in a vast and rich nature of about 160,000 square meters. In the hall, we use dioramas and images to explain the mechanism and environment of the universe, nature and life, including the birth and biological evolution of the earth 4.6 billion years ago. It also displays a whole-body skeletal specimen (replicated) of a Songhua Mammoth with a body length of 9m and a Nuoerosaurus with a body length of 26m. There are outdoor facilities where you can observe nature, such as a dragonfly pond, a barnfield, an acorn forest, and a nature discovery workshop.
