Bozu
Located in the southwest of the Satsuma Peninsula, Bozu was once developed as a window for trade with the continent, the Ryukyu and other countries, so it was said to be one of Japan's Mitsu, which lined up with Hakata and Mie no Tsu in Fukuoka. Many historical sites and materials related to the history of Buddhism and trade were left, and it is also known that a Chinese ambassador ship carrying a high priest called at the port. It is also known as a scenic spot, such as mountains approaching a complex coastline and a highly transparent sea, and has also appeared in the movie "007 will die twice". To learn about the history of Bozu, a tour of the Bozu Historical Materials Center, Kitsukan, is recommended.
