The scallop of the Hakoshima district, Higatsuma-cho

The "Kikyōkan" in the town of Higatsuma stands in a quiet rural landscape that enters the road on the opposite bank from Route 353. The inside of the building is organized in a pure Japanese style, and the hearth room is a nice atmosphere, which is one of the attractions of this facility. The natural hot spring, which focuses on the source-like nature, is a large bathhouse where the hot water of 51C is slightly heated. It is a cypress bath made of cypress wood. The view from the garden-style open-air bath with natural rocks is a masterpiece, and you can enjoy the majestic landscape of the rising rock peaks of Ikatsu Iwai-dong as if it were a borrowed view. Seasonal produce made by local farmers is also sold at the concession stands.

Roadside station, located at the gateway of the country-designated Meishachi, Agatsuma Gorge, west of Higatsuma Town, Gunma Prefecture. The specialty products and souvenirs such as locally-picked fresh vegetables and fruits, as well as local brand rice "Sakuya Hime", are sold at the specialty products and souvenirs. At the restaurant Agatsumatei, you can enjoy dishes using local rice and seasonal vegetables with scenery. At the snack corner "Asa no Taste", we offer a local burger "Devil's Tanburger" that can only be eaten here. A popular dish featuring a local brand of pork, Yamato pork and a menchikatsu with konjac from the town. There are also hot spring facilities and dog runs on the site.

It is located on a high ground, a short climb from the hiking trail, with a clear view of the valley.
