Awara dream guruma

A park rich in nature located on the shores of the majestic Lake Kitagata. The symbol is the red cable-stayed bridge "Iris Bridge" with a total length of 170m. A cycling course nicknamed "Humming Road" is in place, and the 3.7km course around the lakeside has a rest area on the way, so you can easily challenge. In addition to cycling bicycles (from 300 yen per hour) and hand-drive boats (from 500 yen for 30 minutes), you can also rent interesting bicycles and foot-foot boats. In the spring, the cherry blossoms are beautiful, and more than 350 cherry blossoms, such as Yoshino cherry blossoms and weeping cherry blossoms, bloom.

A flower irises garden on the shores of Lake Kitagata, with a gentle water township landscape. As many as 200,000 irises of 300 species such as Edo, Higo and Ise bloom and brightly color the lakefront. The season is usually from early June. The "Awara Kitagata Lakeside Iris Festival" is also held, and stage events and local performing arts shows, as well as sales of agricultural products such as melons and watermelons are also held, and there is a large crowd of people.

It also accepts day bathing at the inn, Seizusou, in Awara Onsen. It boasts the "Wind no Onsenkyo Juraku", which is named after the "Jūraku Onsen", a place of interest at the time. It is lined with tubs, such as the garden open-air bath and pottery bath, one of the largest in Hokuriku.
