Tambayama Village Camp

Located on the southwest side of Mount Yunatori, at an altitude of 1103m, it is a mountain hut of a single inn. It is popular among climbers because it has a rich taste of hidden water and can also be used only for bathing. The bathhouse with a good view is single male and female. Two meals per night stay is 9500 yen.

Tambayama Village spreads quietly along National Route 411, which runs from Okutama to Shioyama City, Yamanashi Prefecture. It is one of the facilities of "Roadside Station Tabayama", which is also the base for sightseeing in this quiet mountain village in the headwaters of the Tama River, and is a full-fledged hot spring facility. Stand across the suspension bridge over the Tama River from the roadside station parking lot. The lodge-style building uses plenty of wood, and the thick beams on the ceiling of the entrance of the stairwell are impressive. There are two places, the Japanese style, and the Western style, which is filled with hot water from the stone pillars in the middle of the bathhouse, and the men and women are replaced on a daily basis. Each has an open-air bath overlooking the surrounding mountains.
