Kakimoto Shrine

Odake at an altitude of 517m and Onadake at an altitude of 474m on the border between Nara and Osaka Kawachi [Kawachi], a mountain lined up to be nestled together. In ancient times, it was called "Futamiyama", and it has been sacred as the entrance of the Western Pure Land, especially because of the beauty of the sun setting on Mount Futami from the Nara side. Near the summit of Mount Yudake is the tomb of Prince Ōtsu [Otsunomiko], a prince of Emperor Tenmu who was charged with rebellion by Emperor Jitō and died a non-commercial death. The summit of Mt. Nigami Shrine Exit Station is convenient for Yudake and Tomaji Station for Eodake.

The specialty is the Chasho rice cake, which is named after Princess Chasho. The rice cake, which is centered on homemade rice and local mugwort, carries a piece of paste representing the petals of a button. Eight of them for 700 yen. In the store, you can taste two rice cakes and a set of tea for 300 yen, and in winter, 800 yen of zenzai with grass rice cakes is added to the menu.

Uma-no-sato is reportedly the birthplace of Uma-no-Hayami [Kehaya], who was the first in Japan to have sumo with Izumo's Nomijukune [Mino-Sukune] during the time of Emperor Suinin. In the building, a ring of rings and a seat of the same size as the place of the book will be provided, and 12000 items of materials such as the numbering table and dawning from the Edo period will be exhibited. Both men and women can go on the ring. It also has a free tourist rest area. It takes 30 minutes.
