
[Ibaraki] Sacred, huge, and a little cute! The heart-grabbing Ushiku Daibutsu
The 120m high Ushiku Daibutsu is about three times that of the Statue of Liberty in New York, and the 18m long palm can be topped with the Great Buddha of Nara.
It is a good fishing area off the coast of Ibaraki Prefecture, and is dotted with many fishing ports, including Oarai, Naka Minato, and Hitachi. Fresh seafood is washed up, and you can taste plenty of seafood gourmet with good-looking material. We introduce five shops where you can experience the taste of Ibaraki fish.
It is a restaurant of a fresh fish shop in the "Michi no Eki Hitachi Osakana Center". Here, it is popular if you can choose your own ingredients and rice and make an original bowl of rice. You can choose from about 40 kinds of ingredients.
"Kaisen Hama-yaki", which allows you to freely choose and milled the seafood that stands in the store, is also popular. There are other good value sets. The final reception is at 17 o'clock (~ 16 o'clock in January-March).

The Oarai-machi Fishing Co-Operated Store is a popular shop where you can taste the excellent freshness seafood that has just been washed in the Oarai Fishing Port at a reasonable price. The specialty rice bowl made with raw Sirasu is a dish that you will definitely want to taste. There are also plenty of prig-up dishes, and all of them are full volume!

As one of Kanto's leading tourist markets, it is a popular spot with customers from outside the prefecture.
