Enjoy the architectural beauty of the Museum on Echigo-Tsumari

To the art facility, which is also the base of the world's largest international art festival, "The Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennial", held once every three years. Staying at the Matsudai Shibatoge Onsen "Unkai"

The onsen inn at the top of the Shiba Pass, at an altitude of about 400m. You can overlook the cloud sea and nature from the open-air baths and guest rooms. It also has a reputation for dinners made from selected local products, including Koshihikari from Minamiuonuma.

A sake brewery tour at Imayo Tsukasa Sake Brewery

A long-established sake brewery founded in the Edo period, which is renowned as a whole-volume pure rice wine with no alcohol addition, which is rare in Japan. It is within walking distance of JR Niigata Station and can be easily stopped by.
