A tranquil retreat surrounded by mountains on three sides. This heritage inn is environmentally friendly and aims to coexist harmoniously with nature.

Blessed with three high-quality natural hot spring sources, our facility offers fresh, unheated and undiluted natural onsen in its purest form.
The spring water is an alkaline simple sulfur hot spring that warms the body from the core. It is well-regarded by guests suffering from neuralgia, rheumatism, cuts, and skin conditions.
Please enjoy this free-flowing hot spring, renowned as one of the finest in Japan, to your heart's content.

Originally built as a villa during the Taisho era, the building was expanded in 1936 (Showa 11) and began operating as a ryokan. Since then, it has undergone several renovations to become the structure it is today.
The postwar additions were designed by the renowned Kyoto sukiya architect Kaichirō Usui, showcasing exquisite craftsmanship and playful elegance throughout. Experts have described it as "a veritable museum of wooden architecture."
