The village of Makari is a naturally rich farming village at the foot of Mount Yotei, characterized by clean water and vast fields. It is also known as the birthplace of the enka singer Takashi Hosokawa, and has also become a tourist attraction. It is a quiet countryside and a place to be calm at heart.
