Koyasan Okunoin is a place where Hiroho Daishi (Kukai), who has been handed down the Shingon Esoterism to Japan, is entering into a prayer ceremony for the realization of the land of Miyo. From the belief that if you sleep at the knees of the great master, everyone can be a Buddha, Okunoin is lined with more than hundreds of thousands of tombs and memorial towers, including famous people in history, As a place of Bodhisattva in Japan, it roars its name across the country. Masami Mikage is the day when the great master was admitted. A puja will be executed at the Okunoin Lantern Hall at 9 o'clock.

It was opened by Kōhō Daishi Kōkai in the year of Hirohito 7 (816) with the royal charter of Kōyama Kōjō from Emperor Saga, and as the root dojo of Shingon Esoterism. The entire Kōyama area is the precinct of the Kōji Temple. Except for each of the 108 worries, I thank the Buddha for his merit and celebrate the New Year with a peaceful feeling.
