
Kazusa Kagura (Ujiko Tata Festival)
Kazusa Kagura is dedicated in prayer for Taihei Tenka, the Five Bereals, etc. It is 1710 and boasts 300 years of history. Designated as the Chiba Prefecture Intangible Folk Culture Property. The old colors of Japan are woven in a rich poetic way. Ujiko Taitai is the largest festival in Kazusa Kagura, dedicated seven times a year. It is called the Jingyue Festival, and celebrates the return of God, who had gathered in Izumo in October, and welcomes Kagura. At the end, there is also a mochi-maki event for the opening and disaster relief invitation.
