The event is held in the adjacent Shirakawa-Seki Forest Park around the time when the flower flowers are blooming in the Shirakawa-no-Seki, where food and beverage sales, various events and flea markets are held.

"Suirakuen", a Japanese garden with a Ikesen excursion ceremony in a corner of Nanhu Park.

Three bales of rice are piled up on a wooden boat called Iifune, and two tins are attached to each end of the boat, which is drawn to the east and west by Ujiko. A Shinto ritual that divests the pattern of the year: "a good harvest" if the east wins after three wins, and "the price of rice rises" if the west wins. The judgment is made directly by Bandai Myojin. The Miko Dance, held on the same day, consists of three dances, with "Sakaki no Mai", "Yumi no Mai" and "Tachi no Mai" being dedicated.
