Osaka Castle Hall

A multi-purpose hall with a maximum capacity of 16,000 people, boasting the capacity of one of the largest in western Japan. Equipped with the latest sound and lighting facilities, it hosts various events such as concerts, sports, ceremonies, goods sales and exhibitions of top artists at home and abroad. In addition, a convention hall, a castle hall, etc. are attached, and various events are also held there.

NHK Osaka Hall

The hall, which accommodates 1400 people, is fully equipped with studio functions for the production of high-definition programs. On a stage using the latest technology, we will create a variety of production spaces, including public programs produced by NHK, music concerts of various genres, performances of traditional performing arts, plays, and symposiums that make use of the characteristics of Kansai.

Yamamoto Noh Theater

The oldest Noh theater in Osaka, which celebrated its 90th anniversary in 2018. In 1927, the first stage of the establishment was destroyed by the war, and was rebuilt in 1950, and in 2006, it was designated as a National Registered Cultural Property. You can experience a variety of things depending on the number of people and budget, such as seeing beautiful Noh costumes and Noh masks up close here, or taking lessons on a sacred stage wearing tabi. Photography on stage is also OK. More than 10 people, it is available for reservations up to one month in advance.

Osaka Prefectural Archives

It holds about 170,000 items, including the official books and administrative publications from the Meiji period to the Taisho period, as well as ancient documents from the Edo period. In the exhibition corner, it is possible to view materials freely. A course is also held here if you study the history of Osaka.

Peace Osaka (Osaka International Peace Center)

In addition to memorializing the victims of the Osaka Air raid and praying for peace, the museum displays materials about the war experiences of the people of Osaka with a focus on the air raid. You can also view books on peace and watch videos and DVDs in the video booth.

Osaka History Museum

In the permanent exhibition, "the steps of the city Osaka" are introduced. The exhibition is designed to be viewed while descending from the 10th to the 7th floor, and the history of ancient, medieval and early modern Osaka can be understood by models, full-scale restoration and abundant real materials. The ruins of the ancient Namba Palace have also been preserved underground. From the 10th floor, views of Osaka Castle and Namba Palace are popular.

Osaka Castle Park

A leafy city park developed around the site of Osaka Castle, a country-designated special historic site. It was opened as a major park in 1924. The five-layer Osaka Castle Tenjō stand on the Honmaru in the center of the park, and the inside is a history museum. There is also Osaka City Museum near the park. The Nishinomaru garden is full of flower viewing in spring. Thirteen old buildings such as Otemon and Senkō-zō and Hō-zō-zō, which are located within the park, are nationally designated Important Cultural Properties. They also include outdoor music facilities Osaka Castle Music Hall and Osaka Castle Hall, as well as sports facilities such as baseball fields, Kyudo-ji, and Shōkan. Osaka Castle Gozabune in the inner moat, where you can see the stone wall up close, is also popular.

The OBP Panasonic Tower and the MID [Em Aidyu] Tower are two buildings that stand out among the OBP. There is a restaurant on the 38th floor of the MID Tower with a beautiful night view.

Osaka Castle Tower

Osaka Castle was founded on the site of Ishiyama Hongan-ji in 1583, when Toyotomi Hideyoshi started his career as a base for Tenka Unification. The castle was dropped at the side of Natsu Osaka, and the castle was rebuilt under the Tokugawa administration, but the tower tower was destroyed by lightning, and the current tower tower, built in 1931, is the third generation. The museum is a historical museum, where you can enjoy Osaka Castle from various angles, including valuable materials and dioramas. There are many highlights in the castle, such as a magnificent stone wall incorporating megaliths, a major gate and a number of towers.

Tamazukuri Inari Shrine

Enshrine in 12 BC. Osaka Castle is also nearby, a 5-minute walk from JR Morinomiya Station, a power spot with many overseas tourists. A lot of women's gods are enshrined, and they can give all the benefits related to women's life, such as good relations, work, disease healing, and child treasures.
