Iki herb hot water

Stopped in the Joy Ibuki (Ibuki-no-sato cultural center). There are two outdoor baths and two indoor baths each, replacing men and women on a daily basis. You can enjoy the herbal bath, which is full of seven kinds of medicinal herbs, including yomogi and towki.

Handmade ham studio Ibuki ham

A workshop where you can see the ham & sausage shop, through the glass from the direct sale shop, where you can eat grilled flank, bacon skewers and outlet sandwiches on the spot. It is also recommended as a souvenir or gift.

Ibukiyama Paraglider School

At the first station of the Ibukiyama Ski Resort, you can experience paragliding. From the slopes, you can see the magnificent view of Lake Biwa. There is also a beginner's program, so you can enjoy it with confidence from elementary school students to those over 60 years old.

Yataka sightseeing potato garden

You can enjoy the potato digging inside the sweet sweet sweet sweet potato plantation spread over a large area of approximately 3800 square meters. It takes about 30 minutes. The tools used when digging the potato are rented.

Milk Farm Ibuki

A facility where you can buy good-quality milk products made from Shiga's milk. It provides fresh and mellow milk processed into ice cream and yogurt from 140 yen and pudding from 240 yen.

Ibukiyama Cultural Museum

A museum built by using an abandoned school at the base of Mount Ibuki (altitude 1377m), the highest peak of Shiga Prefecture, which exhibits and introduces materials such as the nature, history of Mount Ibuki, living tools of people who lived at the foot of the mountain, and production tools.

Yadachokukoku-ji Temple

The school head of the Yadakokokuni-ji Temple, which flourished as a sacred place for Shugen-do, which was opened by the officials in the second year of Bakuho (673). It is located on the hillside of Mt. Ibuki, and is visited by many worshipers to see the temple treasures such as the Juichen Senju Kannon. There is also a reputation for the beautiful scenery of the four seasons.

Mount Ibuki

A beautiful mountain at an altitude of 1377m, located at the prefectural border with Gifu Prefecture as the highest peak of Shiga Prefecture. He also goes on to name Hisaya Fukada's 100 Famous Mountains in Japan. A large panorama from Lake Biwa to Hira to Ise Bay can be seen from the summit. With mountains such as Mt. Hiei and the Japanese Alps, it is a perfect view. It has been revered as a sacred peak since ancient times, and is said to have been the land where Yamato Takeru Nomikoto was wounded in a battle with the god of the mountain. A field of flowers extends over the summit, which is home to about 1200 species of plant flowers such as the Luritlanoo and the Ibuki muskfish. Many also bear the name of Ibuki, such as Ibuki thistle. The Ibuki summit grassland plant community is designated as a natural monument.
