Sea Science Museum of Gamagori City Life

An experiential museum where you can touch specimens such as meteorites and fossils. It will introduce the history of the Earth's birth of 4.6 billion years and the evolution of living organisms under the theme of "the sea", which is the source of the birth of life, as well as "the sea." every Saturday and Sunday, we hold an exciting workshop.

Bamboo Island Aquarium

About 500 species of seawater and freshwater are on display, with a focus on organisms living in the Bundo. Lots to see, including hordes of moray eels and the hawk-footed crab, one of the largest crustacean species on Earth. There is also a water tank "Satari Npuru" that can be directly touched by deep-sea creatures and a palm-sized water tank group "Bamboo Window". Yagatomi Shrine

A shrine located on Takeshima, said to have been founded by Toshinari Fujiwara, in the first year of the first year (1181). Gang County Takeshima

It is also known for appearing in the works of Naoya Shiga.

Takeshima Coast

It is a scenic coast where the island of Takeshima, designated as a National Natural Monument, floats with Mikawa Bay in front of you and is connected by a bridge about 400m off the coast. The shallow water between the Takeshima and the coast is a good place for clamming, and it is also a popular spot as a treasure trove of good quality clams, with a soft, sweet taste.

The Sull

A souvenir shop that manufactures and sells a specialty of Tako Manju in the shape of an octopus. You can eat freshly made on the spot. In addition to the buns, there are plenty of souvenirs from the island, so be sure to check it out before you leave the island. The buns are 648 yen in 12 pieces and 55 yen per rose sale.

Hikama Higashihama Beach (Sunrise Beach)

A swimming beach on the island of Nika, called the island of Taco [Octopus], which is called Sunrise Beach because it is about a 10-minute high-speed boat ride from the port of Tsuzaki and has a beautiful view of the morning sun. It is popular as a summer resort and is crowded with families and couples.

Nichikajima Nishihama Beach (Sunset Beach)

A swimming beach located on the island of Nikaga called the island of Takachi [Octopus]. It is called Sunset Beach because of the beautiful view of the sunset, with Nikajima West Port just around the corner. An event where you can interact with dolphins swimming happily in the natural sea will be held from late May to late September.

Kanto store

A fisherman's fish-fried octopus string experience is 1620 yen (reservations required, weather or catch, or canceled depending on the season). We also recommend dried fish and sashimi of the sea shellfish, which boasts the best catch in Japan.

Nikga Island Museum

The museum displays a variety of fishing equipment, including the oldest shark fishing hooks and a fishing boat model in Japan, and the octopus jar used for the specialty octopus fishing. You can learn about the life of the people on the island and the transition of the fishing industry.
