Atuta Shrine Treasures

It is located inside a school house built in 1966 at Atsuta Shrine, and stores about 6000 treasures, including one national treasure and 27 important cultural treasures, and some of them are open to the public.

Swan Gardens

Using the topography of the Chubu region as a motif in the Ikeizumi-style garden, Tsukiyama is called "Ongeyama", the flow from there is "Kiso River", and the pond where the water of the flow is poured is called "Ise Bay", the Japanese garden is one of the largest in the Tokai region with the theme of "water stories" from the headwaters to the ocean. You can enjoy the flowers of the four seasons and hold a public tea party and an event according to the time.

Palace of Passage Park

A park that maintained the site of the ferry station, "Shichiri no Ferry", on the Tōkaidō. Tōkaidō, which was established in the 6th year of Gyeongsang (1601), between Edo and Kyoto. The only sea route in its total length of 126 ri (approximately 492km), the site of a ferry station connecting "Shichisato (approximately 27km)" from Miyajuku to Kuwana-juku. In Onenai, the night lights erected by the Owari clan elder, Inuyama castle lord Masatora Naruse in Kanei 2(1625), and the bell of the time erected under the name of Owari feudal lord Tokugawa Mitomo have been restored. In the immediate vicinity, the Niwa family, which was a waki-honjin-kama's ryokan around the time of the end of the Tokugawa period, also remains.

Swan tumuli

It is a front-back circular mound from about the end of the 5th century to about the first half of the 6th century, measuring approximately 70m in total length, 55m in front-section width, 7m in height, 45m in rear-section diameter, and 6.5m in height. It is said to be the grave of Nihon Taketoshi [Yamatotake Mikoto], who returned to this land as a swan. The prototype has changed due to the widening of the road, but according to "Owari Sights", a corner of the stone room appeared during the typhoon of Tempo 8 (1837) it is noted that sueki [sueki], such as gagged [kutsuwa], komochi takakatsuki [komochi takatsuki], were found. At the entrance of the burial mound, there also stands a song monument by Noronaga Motoi.

Passing of Shichiri

Miya no Yuku (now Atsuta) on the former Tōkaidō was also used as a ferry yard for the Shichiri ferry crossing to Kuwana [Kuwana], with many ships coming in and out and passenger traffic. The night light, which was placed to keep an eye on the safety of the voyage, still remains. It was rebuilt in Kansei 3 (1791) due to a fire, and what had been in disrepair since then was rebuilt to an almost old position by local volunteers in 1955, and is now maintained as Miyagi's Watari Park.

Atuta Shrine

A venerable shrine that enshrines the Kusanagi Shinken, one of the three types of sacred treasures, as a sacred body, and ennots the reverence as the second most adorable shrine after the shrine of Ise. In the precincts of about 190,000 square meters, there are eight shrines and 19 shrines, including the main shrine and the Bengong. There are more than 70 events a year in the main festivals and rituals alone, and there are also ancient and unusual rituals, such as the four-day-to-day-to-day rituals. It is known as "Atsutaisan" and has been visited by many worshipers throughout the year, including the first lady and Shichigo Sanyo.
