It was rebuilt in Kansei 3 (1791) due to a fire, and what had been in disrepair since then was rebuilt to an almost old position by local volunteers in 1955, and is now maintained as Miyagi's Watari Park.

In the precincts of about 190,000 square meters, there are eight shrines and 19 shrines, including the main shrine and the Bengong.
