Hamamatsu Science Museum Miraira

In addition to permanent exhibitions divided into five themes: "nature," "sound," "light," "power," and "universe," a new cafe & library is born. At the planetarium, a program for commentators to perform live commentary along with a clear projection of the starry sky is prepared, and the understanding of astronomy can be enhanced through exchanges such as interchanges. There are plenty of content that emphasizes learning through communication, such as daily events, science shows, and smartphone apps equipped with an AI dialogue system (conversation robot).

In addition to materials about the Mikatagahara battle, the Yuanshu Dainen Buddha, which began to quell the spirits of the dead who died in the battle, was introduced in dioramas and DVDs. On display are tools of the Great Nenbutsu.

Inside the hall, there are exhibits such as real fighter aircraft and pilot carrying items, as well as easy-to-understand commentary on the Self-Defense Forces through panels. In addition, there is an all-sky theater that introduces the activity status of the Air Self-Defense Forces, and a flight simulator that allows you to ride in the cockpit and perform pseudo-maneuvering. Take one hour.

Tsuda General Park

You can play in the adventure square with plenty of play equipment, as well as sledging on the artificial turf slopes (time: 10 to 16 o'clock) (* use of elementary school students and below). A typical park of Hamamatsu City, such as a slope forest where you can enjoy the changes of the four seasons, Masuzawa Pond that makes use of natural topography such as the waterside space, a spacious multi-purpose square, and a lawn square.

Hamamatsu Castle Park

A park maintained at the site of Hamamatsu Castle. The gardens and forests spread out and are so green that you can't think of the city center. About 330 cherry blossoms will dye Hamamatsu Castle in a light red color in the spring. The Hamamatsu Castle located in the park has a variant name of "Seisejo" as the castle where Ieyasu spent his youth. A stone wall called a field pile remains as it was then. The exhibition in the castle was renewed in January 2021.

West Bank Central Park

Recreation Square, as well as a green park with plenty of athletic. The big athletic, which is also the centerpiece of the park, is packed with fun contraptions such as bridge and net, tire swings and panel mazes. The roller slide, which has a gentle slope and curve, does not increase the speed too much, so it can be enjoyed by children of a wide range of ages, from toddlers to elementary school students. There are also three covered rest areas in the park.

Lake Sunder Lake Park

A leafy park spread around Lake Sana. Within the vast 500,000-square-meter park, there are walking courses, lawn squares, and amusement squares, and you can enjoy sports such as cycling, boating and fishing. Cherry blossoms are famous for being beautiful in spring. In winter, migratory birds visit and bird watching is also possible.

The forest of warmth

The little little little little little little man's forest is a place where the architect Shigeyoshi Sasaki, who pursues his own style of architecture, said, "If there was a place like this," he said, "I 've been making it." it seems to have wandered into a small village in medieval Europe, a calm and mysterious space like being in a fairy land. The stores, scattered in a small forest surrounded by tall trees, are a bottle cheesecake cafe, a restaurant, a gelato shop and a general merchandise shop. I want to visit to taste a moment of dream away from everyday life.
