Josen Temple

The year of Oei 21 (1414) The ancient temple of the Jodo sect of Genjian. On the parapet of the main hall, a fretwork of the Jūrorahan statue of the famous craftsman of the Tokugawa period, Ishida Hanbei, can be seen. The name of the temple is derived from the Shimizu that springs from the precinct, and there is a garden with a pond spring at the back of the main hall. It is a place that was called the three gardens of Izu in the Edo period.

Inashita Shrine

A shrine with a long history, which is also called the spirit forest. The precinct is wrapped in wooded trees, but among them, the large ginkgo, which is over a thousand years old and is designated as a natural monument of the prefecture, is particularly eye-catching. Patisserie Joera

From Sakurada

It stands along the prefectural road No. 15, where flower fields spread in the spring. The producers decide the price, so you can get it at an inexpensive price.

Muro rock cave

The site of the quarry where the stone was cut out from the Edo period until 1954 (Showa 29), and the few places where it is possible to tour the site in a touristy way in a place that left the face of the time.

Homecoming Temple

The ancient temple of the Rinzai sect. It is said that the former (China) high priest, Isan Ichinichi Nei, who was naturalized in Japan, opened in 1301. On both sides of the approach are overgrown with cedar trees, and the mountain gate and main hall of the Namako wall are raised in a hidden way up the mossy stone steps.

About 1200 Yoshino trees are planted at about 6km from the mouth of the Naga River, which flows through the center of Matsuzaki-cho, to Osawa, and are famous for cherry blossoms that bloom from late March to early April.

The forest of the townspeople

From the summit of Mount Ushihara at an altitude of 236m, you can see the center of the town, Suruga Bay, the Southern Alps, and on a good day, you can see Mount Fuji. It is also known for being used as a hydrangea hill in the 2014 TBS drama "In the center of the world, love".

Nishiizu Auto Campground

In the early summer, it is located in a natural town where fireflies dance, and in the summer, five swimming beaches are opened within a 20-minute drive. Free hot springs are also popular. There are 40 auto blocks (from 3200 yen) and 13 bungalows.
