Sawada Park Open-air Bath

A town-run hot spring facility set on the cliffs of Sawada Park, about 500m south of the center of Dogashima Onsen, at the end of the fishing port. As you climb the promenade that extends from the parking lot to the crag, you can see the hot tub. The outdoor bath for each man and woman is small and small for 3-4 people. It is located on a cliff-edge wall that protrudes into Suruga Bay, and the sea, which is said to be the Matsushima of Nishi-Izu, spreads below your eyes. On a day when the sky is soaked by sunset, the sea shines golden. Sunset is the most attractive outdoor bath, and it is so popular that there is a line. Soap cannot be used.

Satouya

A hideaway cake shop standing in a residential area. They are handmade as much as they are put out on that day, and they are all elegant and refined with a fresh feeling. Although it is a shop of local residents, it is also worth using it as one of the few cafes on Doke Island. The steamed chestnut Mont Blanc is popular.

Doga Island Cave Tour Boat

A tour boat on the island of Doga, where you can see the lively cliffs and rock formations of Nishi-Izu from the sea. Take a 20-minute tour of Sanshirō-jima, Jashima, and Ryugai-jima. One of the biggest highlights is the skylight tunnel. As the tour boat slowly travels through the cave, a band of light comes in from above, and the fantastic sight spreads.

Norihama Beach Beach

The beach is surrounded by a bay. The waves are very quiet and the water is also crystal clear. It is located in a position where you can see the island of Meishōdou, and the views are excellent. Life savers are present during the swimming period, so it is ideal for families with small children.

Sanshiro Island

The three islets of Zoshima, Nakanoshima, and Takashima are collectively referred to as Sanshiro Island. It is famous for seeing an unusual dragonfly phenomenon at low tide, when an isso with a width of about 30m appears between the island and land, becoming a path, allowing it to be crossed on foot. The name of the island is derived from the young warrior Sanshiro of the Genji who hid on this island, and the legend of love between Sanshiro and the daughter of the land, Koyuki, is left behind. At low tide, inquired with the Nishi-Izu Town Tourism Association.

Skylight Tunnel

Skylight Cave, which has also become a national natural monument, is a sea cave made of andesite. It has this name because part of the ceiling is open round. It can be seen from the promenade on the top of the cave, but if possible, I would like to see it from the sea on a tour boat. The light coming from the skylight is mysterious.

Shiosai water

A town-run hot spring facility that stands in the Floating Island district located on the north side of Doke Island. The bathhouse only has a single-sex inner bath, but the bathtub is a small but luxurious structure of Sohi, and the warmth of the tree is pleasing to the hot water guests. The colorless, transparent hot water that contains a lot of salt poured into the bathtub is reputed to warm well, and is effective for cuts and burns. A nice atmosphere is a boxed garden that can be seen through the glass of the bathtub.

Romeigasaki Promenade

About 1.7km of sea-side promenade leading from the floating island coast to Tago Port, where you can enjoy comfortable seaside hiks, with sweeping views of the rough cliffs and the azure waters of Nishi-Izu. There is also a rest area and a tsuya in the middle of the course. Place summary 45 minutes.

Floating Island Coast

It is a beach where the beach of Nishi-Izu and pebbles spread, and it is good for diving because of its high transparency. Famous for the beauty of the sunset. There will be toilets and showers and a sea house, and an observation station will also be set up from late July to late August, which is a relief. At low tide, a tide pool is formed on a nearby rocky area, and you can enjoy playing with your family.
