Hongdo Temple

The second place of Izu 88 places. The festival of Fukurokujuson is one of the seven gods of Izu Amagi. In 1857, it was also a temple where US envoy Harris and his colleagues stayed, and the chairs used at that time are displayed in the main hall.

Seko Gorge

A valley that stretches for about 1km along the Nekoetsu River, where old trees such as zelkova and maple trees grow to hide the course of the river, and the trees sprout is particularly beautiful during spring and autumn foliage.

National Assembly of natural hot springs

A hot spring facility along Route 136, standing in a narrow area with the Kano River in front of Yukashima Onsen. The single-sex large bathhouse is built with a rare stone known as Kakiki stone in the bathtub and washing place, and the bathtub is large enough to hold 20 people at a time. The stone open-air bath with a toya facing the Kano River has a tub filled with sodium-sulfate hot springs and a tub filled with alkaline simple hot springs with herbal extracts such as irises and mugwort, and the wind blowing from the Kano River is refreshing. There are rest rooms, private rooms for a fee, and a restaurant.

Kodobashi Confectionery

We have safe and delicious sweets that are particular about materials and manufacturing methods. "Inaka", a signboard product, boasts a deep sweet bean made by carefully cooked red beans grown in the Tokatsu region of Hokkaido in a copper pot for five hours. In addition, the "bata dora", which is an exquisite combination of saiko and high-grade butter, and the "thank you dorayaki", which has an original brand, is perfect for a gift. One boar at 145 yen, 10 at 1450 yen.

UFUFU VILLAGE

Glamping facilities of substantial equipment. Each has a quaint cotton tent, dome tent and camping trailer. The hot spring large bathhouse at the source is free of charge and can be used as many times as possible. Meals are barbecue-style dinner using a real gas grill and French toast breakfast with rusk bread. All ingredients, equipment and tableware are available, and you can enjoy it empty-handed.

Izu Karakuen

Izu Korakuen is a recommended facility for people who like the hole. You can experience the afterlife, and when you go around the hall, you will see a diorama that recreates the picture of hell in front of you. At the end, you will go to the hidden treasure exhibition, which is a bit naughty.

Hozoin

The old temple is said to have been founded by the Kobo Daishi. It is said that the Ino-ji stone in the precinct was written by Hiroho Daishi with his spiritual power, and it is said that if you trace the "i" character with a thought, your wishes will come true. It is also known for having a sculpture called Jingoro left. A bamboo tiger carved with a sketch by Motonobu Kano on the parapet of the mountain gate, Daishido (fee: 100 yen, time: 9 ~ 17:00, winter ~ 16:30, regular holiday: unregular holiday) has the character of Funabarayama on the table, A piece featuring peony flowers remains on the back.

The weeping zakura of the book Kakiki and Hosenji

It is a weeping cherry tree with an estimated 380-year-old tree-named Shizuoka Prefecture Natural Monument. It is 2.7m around the root and 20m high. It is currently promoting protection measures due to the decline caused by old-age trees.

Izu Tsukigase Bairin

It is located on the edge of Tsukigase, known as a famous place of the moon in Nakaizu. During the Kanmei period from mid-February to early March, the plum festival is held (there is an entrance fee). In early June, you can also enjoy picking plums. There is a nearby Tsukigase hot spring.

White rock hot water

Municipal public baths, which draw the oyu of Shiraiwa Onsen on the opposite bank of the Ōmimi River, and the oyu of sodium-sulfate-chloride hot springs (hypotonic, alkaline, high hot springs) are popular for their mellow touch.
