Takumi Culture Hall in Hida

A small museum with a white wall warehouse. All of the exhibits were collected over 30 years by a master who owns a shop dealing with antiques and antiquities. There are about 800 lovely and beautiful glass pieces made from the end of the Tokugawa period to the Showa era. It takes 15 minutes.

Hida Furukawa Festival Hall

The festival museum where you can experience the heat and excitement of the Hida Furukawa Festival on April 19 and 20 every year. The appearance of the hot-air standing drums and the brilliant stalls will be shown in a powerful 4K video. There are three luxurious stalls on display, and you can also experience operating a Karakuri doll that can be played in the stall.

Hida Furukawa Sakura & Co., Ltd.

It has Hida's Nameka confectionery and crafts, and is perfect for looking for souvenirs. In particular, various sesame products using good quality Hida Ego are popular. In addition, the braid experience and Japanese candle painting experience are also carried out in the hall, and the Hida dialect will give you a fun explanation. The braid experience has a type that uses a round stand and a type that is knitted only by hand, both of which are very popular.

Setogawa and Shirakabe Tozo Street

Along the clean Seto River where more than 1000 carps swim, there is a stately area lined with Shirakabe Tozo and Izeko's machiya. This townscape is due to the fact that in the Edo period, the time Masushima castle owner, Kanamori, encouraged the same town-building as Takayama. The scenery shown in each of the four seasons is beautiful, and it is a popular spot to be called the face of the castle town, Hida Furukawa. There are carp from early April to late November.

Honko-ji Temple

Kaiki is one of the three temples of the first year of astronomy (1532). The main temple of Sōhiki-zukuri is Hida Suiichi along with the bell tower as a wooden structure. The Yamamon, erected in 1995, is a work of Furukawa's master craftsman Yamawaki Hachiro. The skill of the master of Hida is brilliant.
