Kunio Yanagita

A study by Kunio Yanagida, a leading figure in Japanese folklore studies, "Kitanshōkōya [Kitanshōku]" was moved from Setagaya, Tokyo to the Iida City Art Museum. In addition to exhibitions on works, it is used as a place for activities of folk research groups including the Ina Institute of Folklore Studies.

Nichatsu Gennosuke Memorial Hall

The former home of poet Ginosuke Nikatsu is restored inside the Iida City Art Museum, which displays compositions and books from Mr.'s time at elementary school, as well as items he loved, as well as letters and autograph books.

Iida City Art Museum, Art Department

The art department of the Iida City Art Museum holds an all-time exhibition of Japanese painter Harusa Hishida, a native of Iida, for about eight periods per year; it also presents works of art by Yukari Iida.

Iida Art Museum

Under the theme of "Nature and Culture of Inaya", the exhibition is held in various fields of nature, culture and art. In the permanent exhibition room of nature and culture, a topic exhibition corner is set up according to the occasional theme, while the art department holds a permanent exhibition and a planned exhibition of Japanese painter Harusa Hishida from Iida City. The planetarium "Tenpo (tempo)" (capacity 90 seats) shows an original program depicting "Nature and Culture in Inaya", combined with programs in line with the theme of each year. There is also a memorial hall on the site that has been relocated to Kunio Yanagita (Registered Cultural Property), which is a study by Kunio Yanagita (Yanagi Takaku), and a restoration of the home of modern poet Ginosuke Hinatsu [Hinatsu Konosuke], a native of Iida.

Kihachiro Kawamoto Doll Museum, Iida City

It opened in 2007 as a symbolic facility in Iida, a town of puppet theater. It contains works by puppet artist and puppet animation writer Kihachiro Kawamoto. At the permanent exhibition, about 100 bodies are exhibited, mainly on the TV puppet show "The Three Kingdoms" and "The Tale of the Heike." the commentary by the staff can be learned about Kawamoto's sticking points and the structure of the doll, and even people who do not know the story can enjoy it. The doll operation experience is also recommended by the doll museum. The animation is also screened (free of charge).

Takeda Osenosuke Memorial International Yarn Puppet House

The Takeda doll was originally a representative Karakuri puppet show in Japan. Born in Osaka Dotonbori during the Kanbun years (1661-73). The troupe has since died down, but the puppet virtuoso Buntarō Yuki is renamed Sannosuke Takeda. In 1955, it was re-emerged (now inactive) as a thread puppet show. Due to the fact that Sannosuke's art adoptive son, Takeda Oginosuke was born in the village of Saraggi, near Iida, he donated dolls, props, and footage that were active on the world stage. It is on display here. The gardens wrapped in the style of each of the four seasons are also attractive.

Iida City Art Museum and Culture Exhibition Room

The Iida City Art Museum's cultural exhibition room was renewed in July of the first year of Reiwa (2019), with the theme of "Inaya as a Corridor of Culture", and exhibits on the festival of Inaya, history and folk performing arts.

Iida City Art Museum, Nature Exhibition Room

The nature exhibition room of the Iida City Art Museum was renewed in July of the first year of Reiwa (2019). It displays the nature of the alpine belt in the Southern Alps, which is the southernmost grouse habitat in the world, and fossils of ammonites and paleoparadoxia from Inaya. You can read the QR code and hear the buzzfrog like a dog. The attached Planetarium Tenpo (Tenpo) shows original programs featuring the nature and culture of the region.

Mountain Foot Park

A 15-minute drive from Iida IC, a park with athletic playground equipment at the foot of Mt. Using the slopes leading from the forest, 21 wooden play equipment were installed in the forest. It is centered on play equipment with relatively low difficulty, such as a tarzan rope named ropeway, from a network, something like a suspension bridge. There are also mixed play equipment such as jungle gym and slides, which can be enjoyed by small children. The Oryuji River, which flows in the immediate vicinity, can go down to the waterside, so you can play in the water.
