Senjo

A long-established brewery known for its local sake "Kuromatsu Senjō" in Takato, where it was established for 150 years. The name is derived from the Southern Alps and Mt. It uses locally produced sake brewing suitable rice, and pursues a calm, gentle puffiness and a sharp drinking mouth. There are many products named after cherry blossoms from the land. Daiginjo "Sakura Roo [Ourō]" 720 milliliters 3456 yen and Pure Rice Daiginjo "Ounyō" 720 milliliters 2916 yen. Factory tours require reservations.

Takato-yaki Hakusan climbing kiln

Takato ware, which produces a rustic and delicate flavor with a double glaze sink. A vessel with a pink glaze and embossed cherry blossom petals is ideal for souvenirs. Shinshu Gaoan Museum

A painter from Takato-cho, the late Masao Harada collected for more than 50 years, 668 works by writers representing the recent and modern times, such as Katsu Kiuchi, Ichiro Fukuzawa, Morichi Kumagaya, and Nakamura Fuori [Fusetsu] and Ikegami Hidefuru [Shuho], it stores and exhibits works by local writers such as Takatsubo Ezaki. Special planned exhibitions are also held several times a year. Viewing duration 30 minutes.

Shundeok Hall

In the first year of Mannobu (1860), the school was opened within Takayō Castle by the last feudal lord, Naitō Yorinao. Because of financial difficulties, the construction of a new building was not possible, so the old house at Jōnai Sannomaru was converted and used. The children of the feudal clan studied Suzugaku, Chinese studies, medicine, Japanese studies, arithmetic, and Western studies, as well as performing equestrian, swordsmanship, jiu-jitsu, gunnery, and Western-style teaching. By the time it was abolished in 1871, a total of 500 students had learned and produced many scholars and politicians who were responsible for the modernization of Japan. Part of the building remains today, and Confucius and other four saints are enshrined in the mausoleum. It takes 10 minutes.

History Museum of Takayō-cho, Ina City

It is located on the shores of Takato Lake, and exhibits themes such as the history, culture and people of Takato from primitive to modern times. It is possible to see valuable cultural objects such as the beautiful floating sculpture of the Tachikawa-style sculpture and the Five Seons of the Kotoku-kan school. On the site, Eshima of Oku Daiyori, who served as the concubine of the Tokugawa 6th Shōguni Ienori, is recreating the Eshima Enclosed House, where he spent 27 years until his life closed at the age of 61, when he was exiled in Takato during the Eshima Ikujima incident. It also features a cherry blossom theater where you can watch footage of the Gaoyuan Castle Ruins Park during the flowering period. It takes 30 minutes.

Gauneng Castle Ruins Park

It was in Astronomy 16 (1547) that Takato Castle was converted at the order of Shingen Takeda. It was a famous castle built with advanced Tsukijo technology, thinking together the strategies of Takeda-ryū. After the Meiji Restoration, the castle was removed to the private government when the prefecture was abandoned, and the castle was removed. Cherry blossoms began to be planted around 1875, and then gradually expanded to become the current park. About 1500 takato okohigan zakura are planted on a 54,000-square-meter site, and many tourists from far away visit to see the cherry blossoms called "Tenka Daiichi Cherry Blossoms" when the period of full bloom is reached from early to mid-April.

Katsuma Yakushido, Weeping Cherry Blossom

A temple built in a small place on the south side of the Takato Sakura Hotel. There is a large weeping cherry tree estimated to be 140 years old in the precinct, which tells Katama no Sato of a spring visit. It is fantastic that three old cherry blossoms are lined up and the branches are swaying in the wind.

Picture Island Surrounding House

Eshima (1681-1741), who was one of the maids of Ooku and climbed to the old age, became a long-distance [onuru] from Edo to Takato on the grounds that he broke his curfew at a play show and a banquet during the grave visit of the 6th Shōgun Ienori. For 27 years, until he ended his life at the age of 61, he would be confined to an enclosed house. The residence of the time was reproduced on the site of the history museum based on a view and is open to the public. It is said that only two meals in the morning and evening (one soup and one dish) were not allowed to read or interact with the outside, and he lived a very frugal life. The shirkness of the surrounding wall speaks of its harshness.

Fureai Exchange Center Oshiba no Yu

A one-day hot spring facility that stands in a corner of the Minami-Minawa Village General Sports Park, where baseball fields, general athletic fields, multi-purpose plazas, and accommodation facilities are maintained. The facility has a substantial content, and the inside of the building is designed to be barrier-free. The bathhouses include "Matsunoyu" surrounded by red pine forest and "Hinoki no oyu" surrounded by cypress forest, while the large bathhouses include large bathtubs and saunas, and source milky baths where ultra-fine bubble devices bubble white. The outdoor bath has different specifications such as the jacksie and the rock bath, so men and women are replaced every Friday.

Oshiba Kogen Sports Park

You can enjoy a variety of sports in a lush green environment, covered with red pine trees and cypress trees. There is a mallet golf, an all-weather tennis court and athletic course, as well as an indoor sports ground and an auto campsite (rate: ¥ 4300 per yard). After the sports, let's sweat with natural hot springs Oshiba no yu (fee: 500 yen, time: 10 o'clock to 21:30, holiday: Thursday).
