Changbong Mountain Observation Deck

A view point where you can overlook the Northern Alps and Azumi Taira. An observation deck is provided at the summit of Changbong Mountain at an altitude of 934m. In late April-early May, the cherry blossoms bloom, and the mountains of the remaining snow shine. From October to November, the sea of clouds also occurs. It is also a sunset point where you can enjoy a beautiful sunset.

Early Spring Monument

Early spring songs that await the spring beginning with "Spring is a name-only wind cold sagiya"; published in the early Taisho era by lyrics, Kazumasa Yoshimaru, and composition, Akira Nakata; a large song monument stands in a great place with a view of the Northern Alps.

Oshoya Yamaguchi Family

The residence where the Matsumoto feudal lord also stayed in the Shoya in the early Edo period. The building is built with a 300-year history on a heavy wall of earth, and you can tour some of the houses, including the Shōin and the garden. The garden pond represents the character of "heart", and the garden of the Tenwa-Sadakyo (1681-1688). He is also the birthplace of Japanese painter Sori Yamaguchi.

Mangan Temple

It is an ancient temple nestled in Sankai, where the main hall stands on a 170-step stone steps up. Four seasons of flowers bloom in a spacious park full of greenery and water, and the hordes of azaleas, especially in mid-May, are stunning.

Hotaka Shrine

Kosha appears in the name book of the Enki ceremony, which was selected by Emperor Daigo's five-year extension (927). The precincts where the main shrine and the shrine stand are surrounded by a fallow cedar grove, giving a solemn atmosphere. The god of the gods flourished in ancient Kitakyushu, and it is said that he moved to Azumino around the 7th century. During the Mifune (Ofune) festival on September 27, the boat-shaped float "Mifune" decorated with Hotaka dolls is towed around, and the two boats are bumped into each other. A full-scale Mifune is displayed at the adjacent Mifune Hall. Okumiya is located on the shores of Lake Kamikochi Myojin Pond, and Rin-miya is located on the summit of Mt.

Kichijozan Tōkoji Temple

A temple of the Soto sect. It is reported that there is a large geta by King Azumino of Zhu-yue in front of the mountain gate, "If you put on a clog by King Nin-sama, your wish will come true." You can go around the kōmitsuta under the main hall.

Mount Gwangcheng

A small mountain known as a view spot of the Northern Alps. It takes about an hour to hike from the entrance to reach the summit. It is also known as a spot of cherry blossoms with about 1500 trees lined up. From mid to late April, cherry blossoms bloom behind the mountains of remaining snow.

Sai River Swan Lake

The Sai River, which flows through the Toyoshina district of Azumino. It is a river with a more gentle flow than a lake. The swan swan has been flown to Swan Lake for wintering since about 1984. In many years, the number of incoming birds has increased to more than 1000 birds, and the first team flies in mid-October every year and returns to the northern country around March. It is about 10 minutes on foot from the bus parking lot at the sewer treatment facility Aquapia Azumino.

Aoki Lake Campgrounds & Adventure Club

Blue and clear Lake Aoki. It is set in a forest of larch and mountain cherry trees at an altitude of 822m, and has plenty of play spots including fishing, MTB and canoeing. In winter, you can enjoy smelt fishing and skiing, snowboarding and cross-country skiing at the nearby ski slopes. A variety of food and making experience classes are also held.

Lake Aoki Base White Horse Lion Adventure

The outdoor facilities on the shores of Aoki Lake, operated by Hakuba Lion Adventure, located in Hakuba Village, and the evening menu, such as kayaking, Canadian canoeing, and a picnic on a raft boat, not to mention the menu under the blue sky, night lake cruising from 20 o'clock in summer and autumn, and lake firefly tours are also very well received.
