Wakaichi Prince Shrine

The shrine was reportedly founded during the Heian period, and was later made by the royal family Nishina clan to encourage Prince Wakaichi of Kishu Nachi to become the shrine. A triple tower of mid-Edo architecture in the precinct and a kannon-do convey the appearance of the shrine-buddha to the present day. The main shrine, designated as a national monument, is an architecture that was renovated during the Edo period under the construction of Koji 2 (1556), and also incorporated the makustyle of the Edo period. During the festival festival on the fourth Sunday of July, the Children's Procession, the Shinkoshi, and the stage are milled around the town, and the Ryūbama Shrine by the boy's archer is dedicated in an ancient style.
