Dragon King Ski Park

Ryuo Ski Park is at an altitude of 1930m, and the level of satisfaction is high in both the quality of snow and the amount of snow. The famous tree fall course is one of the best non-pressure snow barns in the country, and you can enjoy the super powder snow. The Skyland area at the top of the slopes is irresistible for powder lovers. The Valley area of the main slopes is Flat & Wide Burn. In addition, you can use the ropeway on a snowmobile to go to "SORA terrace" and "SORA terrace cafe" to enjoy the unique scenery of winter. There is also a "SORA terrace sightseeing plan" and an "adventure park" where both adults and children can enjoy sledding and tubing, and there is plenty of content other than skiing and snowboarding.

Kita-Shiga Komaruyama Ski Area

Located on the northern slope of Kita-Shiga, there is a ski area that can be enjoyed from beginner to advanced. There are 7 courses, and rails are also installed.

X-JAM Takai Fuji

A fan-shaped piste layout extending towards the base of one place with three peaks, Mount Sankō to the east and Mount Iimori to the west, centered on the middle of Mount Takashan at an altitude of 1352m. It is slippery because there are many straight one burn. The full park has a variety of items, and Max Beat Park X-JAM has two half pipes. There is an impression that it is a snowboarder, but it is also popular with the family, and you can play with peace of mind in the naughty square.

Yahase Akabi Studio

A place for sending handiwork, utilizing an old private house in Otakiai, which is close to the town border with Kishimahira Village. Works by local authors, including textiles, ceramics, and vine work, are on display, and there is also an experience menu for ceramics, hand-weaving, and making moss balls. Listen to grandma's folk tales at the hearth end, and try to inquire because there are fun events at that time.

Shiga Kogen Mountain Resort

The ski area is flanked by 18 ski areas, including Sun Valley, Ichinose, Yakinamiyama, Okushiga Kogen, Yokoneyama Shibutoge, and Kumanoyu. If you use a common lift ticket for all ski areas, you can enjoy tour skiing around each ski area. In addition, the shuttle bus can be used, making it easy to travel between the slopes.

Road Station Hokushuju Yamanouchi

The station has a cute green Tongari hat roof. Popular is Zaru soba noodles with homemade noodles for 600 yen and Tenzaru with local vegetables for 880 yen. You can buy local hot spring buns for 500 to 1140 yen at the stand.

Ling Meng Waterfall Observation Deck

The observation deck, which offers a long view of the largest waterfall in Shiga Kogen, Kuman Waterfall. The head is 107m, and there is a beautiful contrast with the green and rock walls around it. A promenade is maintained around the observation deck. The contrast with fresh green in spring and autumn leaves is popular in autumn.

Flat-bed high-water spring

Along National Route 292, which goes from Lotus Pond to the Yokote Mountain area, it appears on the right hand after about 1km past Kido Pond, a large spring spring that blows up white smoke, the source of the nearby Hotaru Onsen inn.

Uki's Ed Higan (Chitose Sakura)

Some 850-year-old Edugan Zakra, nicknamed "Uki's Chitose Cherry Blossoms" and familiar. Even in the prefecture, it boasts one or two ages, and is designated as a natural monument of the prefecture. There are other trees in the Uki area, and you can enjoy visiting ancient cherry blossoms.

Shiga Kogen Forty-eight Pond Bog

The Shiga Kogen area, which forms a complex terrain due to active volcanic activity. A variety of natural environments such as lakes, moors, and native forests remain. At an altitude of 1880m, the Shihachi pond marshland is designated as a natural monument of the prefecture as a place of vegetation and habitat, with about 60 large and small ponds scattered around. A lift is provided on the promenade to the Forty-eight Pond, so you can enjoy trekking easily. In early summer, a variety of plants such as rhododendrons bloom, and in autumn, the entire mountain is wrapped in autumn leaves.
