Cane Pass

From the Cane-Tsu Pass at an altitude of 1247m, you can overlook Yagedake, the Northern Alps, Lake Suwa, etc.

Suwa Taisha Shrine Kamisha Maemiya

It is located on a high ground in Miyagawa, Chino, about 1.5km east-south from the main shrine, overlooking Yagatake and Suwa-daira. It is said to be the predecessor of the main shrine, where the priest god of the main shrine, Kennamakata, entered Suwa and first settled. The god of this is Yasaka Togojin, the princess of the god of construction. On April 15 each year, the Ontosai (Ontosai), the first priest of the Kamisha, where the transfer of the Mikankoshi is held from the main shrine to the previous shrine, is executed.

The Decade

It is located in the precincts of the Suwa Taisha Shrine Shrine, and is a sacred place where the Otoshi festival [Ontosai] takes place.

Yagatake

Lying on the prefectural border between Nagano and Yamanashi prefectures, Renfeng is divided into the Minami-Yatsugatake area, the Kita-Yatsugatake area and the Tateshashiyama area. The area of Minami-Yatsugatake is impressive with the magnificent rock peaks represented by Akadake. The Kita-Yatsugatake area is characterized by coniferous forest forests and scattered lakes and ponds. The Tateshinayama area has a beautiful cone-shaped ridgeline called "Shinano Fuji" and "Suwa Fuji". There are plenty of climbing and hiking routes to match the level, and you can appreciate many kinds of alpine plants. In addition, there is a climbing entrance (inquiry required).

Yokogaya Gorge

Refers to a valley that stretches for about 4km along the Shibakawa River from Yokotani Onsen to Meiji Onsen. The cliffs are overgrown with trees and flowers, and the mountain streams are dotted with large and small waterfalls and huge rocks. If you want to see the dynamic valley beauty, it is recommended to take a walk on the Yokotani valley promenade. Starting at the Yokotani Gorge Entrance Tourist Information Center, about 3km, passing through the Otsuya Falls, the Mifuki Falls, the Pingfeng rock, and the Otaki, which are scattered along the mountain stream, to Yokotani Kanon. From the observation deck here, you can see from the Southern Alps to Norikura and the Northern Alps. Otome Waterfall (part of Okawara Weir) is listed as a World Irrigation Heritage Site.

Yusen House Kodyu

Shimo-Suwa Onsen, which has eight communal bathhouses, is a public bathhouse that is the size of the town and hot water that is loved by patrons, making use of the abundance of hot water and using the source for showers.

Hot water of the dang

A nearly 700-year-old public bath house is supposed to be the beginning of the Dadao Dormitory built for the monks visiting the Kamakura-ji Temple. Yuguchi is as hot as 52 degrees, reportedly a source of effect for cuts. The samurai who was hurt in the battle often took a bath. In addition to the traditional hot and cold hot water, an open-air bath was also installed, making it an even more attractive public bath.

Sugano Hot Springs

You can enjoy the retro atmosphere of the year 1886 and the oval tub slowly. Located in the center of town, go through the arcade and feel like you 've slipped back in time to the old bathhouse. Recommended for arterial sclerosis, cuts, burns and chronic skin diseases. The hot water temperature is about 42 to 3 degrees. It is "relatively" lukewarm among the Shimo-Suwa hot springs.

New water

Shimo-Suwa Onsen with eight communal bathhouses. Here is one of them, halfway between Suwa Taisha Shimosha Akimiya and Harumiya. A mural of Mount Fuji, which is a small but classic in the public bath, is impressive in a semi-circle bath of a slightly unusual shape. The hot water that is temperature-controlled every day is a little bit hot, so let's take a bath while the body is run-in.

Shimo-Suwa Town Elderly Welfare Center

It is familiar to local people as a long-lived hot water bath, and it is a common bath in the Anaiba-like area of Shimo-Suwa Onsen. Note that the opening hours are starting from the evening.
