A large community of azaleas in the round plateau of hot water

There are approximately 600,000 strains of azaleas native to the Tamu no Maru Plateau. In late June, a large community that fills the mountain skin with a red stain makes the plateau feel like an early summer visit. In this season, in the crisp wind of the plateau, the Yono-Maruyama-Oojatakedake climbing, which climbs as if to sew between the azaleas, is a popular trekking course. I want to go out on nature exploration where I can meet many alpine plants and wild birds. In mid-June to early July, the Tamu no Maru Kogen Azalea Festival is also held.

A high-rise moor sandwiched between the Takamine Plateau and the Tamu no Maru Plateau. You can walk while observing alpine plants. Recommended is a two-hour promenade that takes one lap from the Ikenodaira parking lot to the moors, Mikangagamine, Mount Miharu, and the hills of Clouds. In the treasury of alpine plants, about 1200 types of subalpine and alpine plants grow. From spring to autumn, flowers such as the crestfish, odamaki, and zuran-marsh can be seen, and in early summer, a community of irises dye the moors in a purple color. The clam, which produces dainty pink flowers, is also beautiful. In addition, there are the Mizunotoyama/Kotono mountain climbing course, and the Makhat-dake/Yunoyama course.

High Peak Mountain Park

A ski area spread over the high peak plateau at an altitude of 2000m. The stage1 is wide and gentle, and snow is maintained daily, allowing beginners and families to improve with peace of mind. You can enjoy sledding easily at Chibikko Square with snow escalators (moving walkways). The rental is comfortable because it is newly replaced every year. Accommodations such as the directly managed Takamine Mountain Hotel and the Takamine Kogen Hotel are also substantial.

Takamine Plateau

You can enjoy easy trekking on a gentle plateau at an altitude of 2000m around the Takakusaka Pass. Alpine plants such as azaleas and rhododendrons are seen in summer, and autumn leaves are to be seen in autumn. The Kurazaka Pass, which serves as the gateway, is also a climbing entrance to Mt. Kurokama, and has a wonderful view of Sakudaira, and if the weather is good, you can overlook Mt. Fuji, Yatsugatake and the Northern Alps. Depending on the season, there is a cloud sea under the pass, and you can enjoy the magnificent scenery as if you were on the cloud.

Aguri hot water

A day-trip hot spring facility built by the city of Komoro, located on a hill with a view of the town of Komoro and the Chikuma River, and a front view of the mountain of Asama. I'm surprised at the fine building, but the hotel is luxurious and the restaurant and the great hall are laid back. The taikan from the open-air bath is one of the largest in the hot spring facilities with a large number of views of Mt. Asama in the surrounding area.

Komoro Nunobiki strawberry garden

Strawberry picking at the Komoro Nunobiki strawberry garden is trying to make sure you can eat strawberries that are safe and delicious in a comfortable space. You can eat as many strawberries as you like for half an hour, like jewelry. There is a rest area in the house, so it is recommended that you can spend time like a cafe on weekdays. Nunobiki

The Tendai Sōbiki Fusanji Nunbiki, which is said to have been opened by Gyoki in the first year of Kamikame (724), appears after a 15-minute climb up the approach to the steep mountain path from the banks of the Chikuma River. It is famous for the Nunobiki legend of "Ushi-ni-ni-te Zenkoji-ri". The palace, located inside the Kannin-do built on the cliff of a rocky mountain, was built in the early Kamakura period and is an important cultural treasure of the country. Hakusan Shrine is designated as a prefectural treasure. The twenty-ninth bill of the Shinano Thirty-Three-Three-Three-Three-Guannin Temple. Cherry blossom spots are seen in spring, and autumn leaves are seen in autumn.

Prospects open-air bath cloud assistance

The hot spring facility is also possible for the stop-over of the Jōpankan at Hishino Onsen, located at an altitude of 1000m, at the southern foot of the Takamine Kogen. An antique store located along the former Hokukoku Highway. It uses the building of the former Komo Bank (registered tangible cultural property) as it is, which was built in 1884 (Meiji 17). Fujiya Brewing

It boasts local rice and good-quality domestic soybeans, a miso that sticks to raw materials. The long-matured miso has a rounded and deep flavor. It is sold from 500g, and the variety is rich, such as sweet miso 1kg910 yen, wheat miso 1kg730 yen, and soba miso 1kg1510 yen. 1kg 770 yen of medium spicy miso is the so-called Shinshu miso. There are other special sweet miso 1kg1030 yen and two-year miso 1kg1330 yen.
