\"Chikyu no Tani\" is a new area opened in April 2025. There are new observation spots such as \"Wind Wheel Terrace\", \"Ibuki no Dekki\", and \"Ozora no Banks\". You can enjoy the unprecedented view of Owakudani. There are plenty of shopping and eating and drinking, such as \"Tani no Marche\", which sells souvenirs and sweets drinks, and \"Iwa no Subenchi\", which is perfect for a break. It is an area full of charm where you can enjoy Owakudani more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The three observation spots are rich in character. The \"Wind Wheel Terrace\", spread over the square in front of the station, is a circular terrace with a central stairwell. The wind blowing through 360 \u00b0 C from the top, bottom, left and right is comfortable, and you can experience it as if it is integrated with nature. \"Deck of breath\" if you want to taste the thrill. The floor of the deck, which protrudes about 11m toward the bottom of the valley, is glazed, and the feet look full! There is no doubt that you will be pounded by the illusion of standing in a lumpy rock face or a blowout. With large windows, you can take in the view of the Owakudani fumarole area while dining, making it one of the great view spots. The recommendation is the \"Owakudani Curry,\" which has been loved for its unchanged taste since opening. The spice-infused, Japanese-style dashi-based roux is exquisite. In addition to the katsu curry, new iron pot dishes have been added, providing a rich variety.
