It is not for a castle town that you can see a curved road or a T-junction so that you can respond to a raid from an enemy coming from the port. The base of the Maruo Gozemon, which made its name in the Edo period with Ofuna, and the bells of the Koraku-ji Temple, where Maruo prodded, have now remained. Aoki stones can be seen on stone monuments and stone walls in the island. That long ago, it revived the traditional cultivation of pepper Kagawa Hontaka, which was grown in the Salitsune Islands, and has become a specialty of the island.
