The hot water is classified as a baking soda spring, also known as a beautiful hot water, and it is well-heated because it contains iron ions and salt, and is reputed to be difficult to cool. There is a hot, lukewarm tub. There is a free Japanese-style room rest area in the hall, which is free to carry food and drink, and is equipped with a massage machine. There is also a set fee of 650 yen for all-day play at the park golf course adjacent to the hot spring.

From the foot of the Shōwa New Mountain to the summit station at 550m on the hillside of Usu Mountain at an altitude of 733m is a summary of 6 minutes. Near the summit, there is an observation deck overlooking the Shōyako, Shōwa Shinzan and an observation deck of the crater, which offers a powerful view of the scenery. A promenade of about 2km each way is also maintained.
