Kurosaki Takao Observation Deck

The Nioyebine orchid, a type of wild orchid and also known as the queen of the ebine, was once able to see its appearance everywhere on the island, but was overfished by some maniacs, and now it is almost impossible to see anything native. This park was created for the purpose of protecting this Nioyebine orchid. When white and light purple flowers bloom from mid to late April, the park is filled with a noble fragrance. In addition to shebine, saku lily, senryow, and petunia are planted in winter, so you can enjoy flowers outside of the shebine season.

稲根神社脇にある記念碑。文久3年(1863)アメリカの商船バイキング号が御蔵島へ座礁。当時の日本は鎖国中だったが、250人ほどの御蔵島の島民は人道的立場から力を合わせ、バイキング号の乗員約500人を救出。1ヵ月の間面倒を見た後、伊豆下田へ送り出した。事件100年を記念して、船の所属港ニューベッドフォード市民と遭難者の子孫が、感謝の意を込めて稲根神社の参道入口に記念碑を建立。記念碑に立てかけられた大錨はバイキング号で実際に使用されていたものであり、また神社の灯篭の台座にはバイキング号の錨巻揚機が利用されている。

The Inane Shrine, which enshrines the island's Shōjō, is an old shrine that remains a record in the Enki ceremony, and has gathered a thick faith as a deity since all the islanders were deemed to be the children of Inane Shrine by the abolition of Buddha in the early Meiji era. The three types of sacred objects, balls, swords, and mirrors, are enshrined in the main shrine in the Inane Forest in the southern part of the island. The cruise of the shrine is held around this hall, showing the vibrancy of the island. In addition, he has also been dedicated such as a plate painting colored kamma figure by the brush of the Edo period painter Eiichi Butterfly.
