
Yokokurayama Natural Forest Museum
The Natural History Museum, with three pillars of geology, fossils, plants, history and legends, and mainly materials about Mt. Yokokura. There are fossils from the world, including reef-building corals 400 million years ago from Yokokurayama and the real fossils of Triceratops from North America. There is also an experience corner where you can directly touch fossils and instone such as ammonite. In the plant area, detailed sketches and replicas of botanical specimens and plants named by botanist Tomitaro Makino can be seen. It takes one hour.
