The temple of the Rinzai sect was rebuilt in the first year of Oei (1394) by the Uesugi Ujisada (Ujisada), who received the order of Ashikaga Ujimitsu (Ujimitsu), with Kōgai [Kuugai] as the Kaizan. The twenty-sixth bill of the Kamakura Thirty-Three-Three-Three-Three-Guannin Reiji. Located in a quiet residential area of Ogigaya, it is also famous as a temple for flowers such as kaidou, plum, daffodils, and hagi. The precincts include the back building of Tenmei 5 (1785), the Buddhist temple that was moved from Joji-ji, and the main hall that was rebuilt in the Taisho era. On the right hand side of the front side of the mountain gate is one of the Kamakura Toi-no-no-i, and there is a six-no-i at the back of the left hand, under the cliff.
