A retro hot spring town spreads along the 40,000 River. The name was named because of the legend that it was a "Reisen Healing Forty-thousand Diseases", and it was also designated as the first of the National Hot Springs. Standing on the base of Kyunbashi, among others, Kuzenbaku is a long-established inn known as the oldest surviving Japanese yūjuku architecture, founded in the Edo period of Kōnbashi (1694). It is said to be one of the models of animated films, and it does not take a sense of excitement as if it had lost its way into the world of cinema.
Feel free to experience Yuji in the nostalgic main building

Cross the Red Bridge admiring the cool mountain stream. In addition to the "main building", there are "Sanso" built in 1936 and "Kasho-tei" built in 1986, in addition to the "main building". Buildings with different atmosphere are connected by elevators and communication passages.

The main building was built in the year of Genroku 4 (1691), and was visited by a large number of Yuji visitors as they stayed for a long period of time to treat and sanate diseases. The thick beams and columns of the main building entrance still bear the image of the time. The "main building" is an old-fashioned Yuji building, and in the simple guest room, the futon is also self-styled by itself. It is recommended for those who want to feel free to experience Yuji from one night.
On the other hand, the adjoining "sanzhuang" is the "Jiasho-tei", which is an inn building. Guests can enjoy the best of hospitality and seasonal peasants in a room that looks at the four seasons of nature.

On the roof of the main building entrance, you can see a print that mimics "sekizen bird". If you look closely at the bird, can you see it made of the characters "seki-ze-don" by hiragana?
A tiled bathroom full of the atmosphere of the Taisho romance

This is located in the main building, and was built in 1930 (Showa 5), with five stone bathtubs lined up in a western-style, modern, hall-style bathroom, and a hot spring springs from the bottom of the yūfune.
Soak in warm water containing sodium and calcium to make your skin moist and smooth. In addition, it is called the "Meiyu of Japan's Three Great Gastrointestinal Diseases" along with the Gagata Onsen in Miyagi Prefecture and the Yuhira Onsen in Oita Prefecture, and is said to be effective for gastrointestinal and constipation if it is drunk.

The two-place "Sanzhuang no Yu" in the neighboring Sanzhuang can be used as a family bath because they are locked from the inside, and there are two tiled water baths, and the hot springs springing up from the bottom are hanging.
Approach health with a new attempt called "hot spring x medicine"

"Yakusen and Mukoshin", located on the site of the "Kuozenkan", is a renovation of a building that is also designated as an important cultural property of the town. The synergistic effect of bathing in the 40,000 hot springs and the medicine menu warms from the inside of the body, leading to health maintenance and body improvement. We offer a variety of menus such as Yakuzen porridge and Yakuzen sake.

The hall has been reborn into a stylish space that combines tradition and newness, with shops and eating spaces on the first floor and meals on the second floor.

There are eight kinds of Yakuzen tea that can be drunk in the store, 700 yen each. For blood ischemia, you can get a blend for the purpose, such as Kekkyo Beauty (Beauty), which blends nettle, wormwood, and chicken wisteria, and for blood, Oketsu Clear, which blends hibiscus, rose, and red flowers. We also sell Yakuzen tea packs so that you can enjoy them at home.

A natural space with white walls and natural wood, with a large single-sheet table in the center for a relaxing meal.

The retro building you can see beyond the window is "Genroki no Yu", and the pendant lights that go down inside the store also have a nostalgic feel.
