2026 Spring Festival Lanterns

In the first year of Yongin (1293), the Nichiren saint's granddisciple-day statue [Nichizou] Jinjin opened the mountain. The Nichiren Saint statue in the main hall is a rare one with a slightly open mouth. On the right of the precinct stands the service tower of Tokugawa Iemitsu's younger brother Tadashō. From 23:45, the first shot after the reading of the night will be started by the priest, and after that, they can be put on a first-come, first-served basis for free.

A festival to thank God for the grace of God by offering the fruits of autumn, including new kernels. During the period from November 10 (Sunday) to 23 (Sat/Holiday), a chrysanthemum exhibition and a photo exhibition will be held to add color to the precincts.

About 5,000 hydrangeas have been planted in the rice paddy area, making it famous as the "Hydrangea Village." Against the backdrop of lush green rice fields, the colors of the hydrangea flowers stand out, with the best viewing time from early to mid-June. Recommended spots include the Instagram-worthy "Hydrangea Pond" and the original hydrangea "Kaisei Blue." Additionally, various events are held at the nearby "Ashigari Sato Setoya" (a traditional house from about 300 years ago). During the festival period, a shuttle bus (paid, free for children under 6) to Hydrangea Village is available from Odakyu Kaisei Station.
