Chomonkyo Gorge is a representative gorge of Yamaguchi Prefecture and a nationally designated scenic spot. It is known for its striking beauty, resembling a Japanese painting, with strange rock formations, waterfalls, and deep pools.
In spring, cherry blossoms, wisteria, and magnolias bloom, painting the landscape with vibrant colors. Summer brings lush greenery, creating a refreshing atmosphere. Autumn transforms the mountains into a vivid canvas of red foliage, while winter offers the breathtaking sight of a majestic snowy landscape. Visitors can enjoy the beauty of Nagato Gorge throughout the year.

Ichinosaka River

Nikoninin
