Tips
● Accommodation & transportation planning
Accommodation: If there is one or two places you want to go to, you can enjoy it in two days and one night. However, you can plan with a small amount of points, such as touring only the classic spots. If you extend your foot to more than three places or Sanriku, it will be three days and two nights.
Transportation: Town sightseeing with a high concentration of places of interest, such as Morioka, Hiraizumi, and Hanamaki, is served by buses and bicycles and on foot. In areas such as Hachibahira and Sanriku, the number of buses and railways is small, so it is best to move a car in advance.

● When using train & bus
The first day starts at Hiraizumi Station and walks around the world heritage site of Hiraizumi. Travel by train to Hanamaki Station, then take the bus to your accommodation in Hanamaki Onsenkyo. If you stop at the Geihinxi, take a bus that departs at 11:00 or 13:00 from Hiraizumi Station and travel to the Geihinxi (winter holidays). From Geihinxi, the bus will travel to Ichinoseki Station and the train will take you to Hanamaki Station. On the second day, the train travels to Shin-Hanamaki Station, and then to Miyazawa Kenji Children's Story Village. Then travel by train to Tono Station. If you go to Aragami Shrine, use a taxi.
