Lake Tago

A day-trip hot spring facility with a high level of iron-rich, reddish-brown hot water. Iron seems to work well on the body and has a rich effect. In winter, roads are also different depending on snow accumulation conditions.

Yasuri-an, where you can eat 10 soba noodles made using delicious water in nature. A seasonal fluke set (1100 yen) with tempura and small pots using seasonal ingredients is recommended. You can also eat Asakusadake curry, the new menu Kenchin Soba, Soba Hatoni Soba Yakimochi, and a menu that uses plenty of buckwheat noodles (the contents of tempura and small pots change according to the season). A nearby manufacturing plant, Yamasa Shoten, also has a selection of souvenir products that are particular about raw materials and hand-made.

The housing of the Hasebe family built in the late Edo period. It is an architecture called a bent shop where horses are kept at the entrance, leaving a beautiful thatched roof to the present. It also serves as the Kuchidome Bansho (Kuchidome Bansho) of the "Yasurietsu" connecting Aizu and Echigo, and there is also a samurai-built Okuzashiki where Aizu clan officials stayed.
