A confectionery store known for its kintsuba, which carefully cooks red beans from a contract farmer from Hokkaido Jukatsu and makes them one by one by hand. It is a long-established company that was founded in one of the tōkaidō's post houses, Mikutsuki-juku (now: Iwata City, Shizuoka Prefecture) in Meiji 4 (1871), selling traditional Kintsuba, Dorayaki, Shito Daifuku, Shizuoka Melon, and others. Hand-baked Kintsuba also includes matcha, which has the aroma of tea made from Shizuoka's matcha mixed into dough, and seasonal potatoes using the red-willed green potato. Japanese sweets made with sweet paste have also been well received, and "Anko Whipped Pancake" and "Mataichi Ampaphe" are popular among the attached cafe "Mataikko Tabetai Cafe".

Founded in 1890 (Meiji 23), we manufacture and sell sweets with the motto "Creating delicious and comforting confections." We offer a selection of carefully crafted Japanese and Western sweets, including the famous Goku Purin, which gained popularity through online shopping, the popular Shizuoka melting raw chocolate cookies as souvenirs, and our specialty miso manju.

A shop that manufactures and sells millet rice cakes, sold as souvenirs during the festival of Mitsuke Tenjin, famous for its magnificent naked dance. Also selling Taro Monaka inspired by Shippei Taro, and Wish-granting Ushi Monaka filled with milk butter cream with a hint of salt and red bean paste. 180 yen each, 360 yen for 2 pieces. Millet rice cakes are 720 yen for 6 pieces, 1200 yen for 10 pieces.
