At the "Ogawa Ekonosu Motoyama Factory," based in Fuchu City, Hiroshima Prefecture, we focus on waste collection and processing operations, allowing you to learn about the fate of garbage generated in daily life. You can visit the "Resource Sorting Facility," which sorts recyclable waste, the "Composting Facility," where organic waste is mixed with microorganisms to create fertilizer, the "Waste Electrical Appliance Facility," which manually disassembles discarded electronic products, and the "Incineration Facility," which incinerates waste from hospitals. Additionally, to help visitors realize that recycling takes time, we offer a free hands-on experience of manually dismantling a hard disk from a computer (reservation required). Visitors receive an eco-bag or a notebook as a gift.

広島県府中市を拠点に廃棄物の収集や処理業務を中心に行う施設の工場見学。ゴミの行方からリサイクルの概念までを学べる。企業の廃棄物から石炭の代替燃料となるRPF固形燃料を製造する「RPF製造施設」、新聞・雑誌・段ボールなどの古紙を圧縮する「古紙圧縮施設」、自治体の容器包装プラスチックゴミの選別を行う「容器包装プラスチック選別施設」の3施設。プラスチックゴミに混ざった異物を手作業で分別する様子などを実際に見ることで、自分の生活と密接に関わりのあるゴミ問題についてあらためて考えるきっかけに。来場者にはエコバッグまたはノートのプレゼント付き。
