Xingxuan Farm

A stone-arched waterway bridge, one of the largest in Japan, formed in Kaei 7 (1854). It is a part of the water for tsumune water on the southern hills of Mount Aso-minami, and has been designated as a national treasure, with a bridge length of about 78m and a bridge height of about 21m. It is well known that water spews out of the water outlet in the center of the stone bridge in an arched shape. The Gokase River, which originates from the Chuo Mountain Range in Kyushu. In the upper reaches of the Gokase River, the gorge known as "Soyo Gorge" showcases magnificent canyon beauty over approximately 10 km from Sawatari Falls to Hanagami (Kuwanouchi) Dam. It is a rare U-shaped valley in Japan, with stunning scenery created by the steep cliffs rising about 200 meters and the surrounding greenery, earning it the nickname "Grand Canyon of Kyushu." From the Soyo Gorge Observation Deck (Nagasaki Nose Observation Deck), this gorge can be viewed in its entirety, and in autumn, the maple and zelkova trees beautifully change color, attracting many visitors. To visit, park at the Soyo Gorge parking lot and enjoy a 5-minute walk to the observation deck.
