The city of Fujiyoshida is located at the northern foot of Mount Fuji, and is known as the Kitaguchi Honmiya Fuji Asama Shrine, a constituent asset of the World Heritage Site, as well as the gateway for climbing Fuji. It is a town packed with beautiful scenery against the backdrop of Mount Fuji and a variety of attractions including local traditional textile culture.
