A shop reputed among soba enthusiasts. The owner personally grinds soba sourced from various regions using a stone mill and hand-makes it without any additives, resulting in exquisite soba. In the evening, a soba kaiseki "Soba Yuzan" (14,520 yen, for 2 or more) is prepared. Reservations are required for both lunch and dinner. Lunch starts at 1,400 yen, dinner starts at 18,150 yen. There are 10 seats available at night.

A wooden sign with "Jubei" written on it catches the eye. The tororo set meal for 1200 yen comes with finely textured and sticky tororo, simmered mountain vegetables, miso soup, a daily small dish, and rice. Other options include the mountain vegetable set meal, donburi set meal, yakisoba set meal, and Jubei set meal. Jubei udon or soba is 700 yen. *During busy times, serving may become self-service. Reservations are required for groups of five or more.

A shop and cafe by chef Masahiko Hayashi, who won in 1991 at the "Coupe de Monde Patisserie", the world's highest Western-style confectionery competition held once every two years in Lyon, France. Sweets produced from materials that have been examined while constantly honing their skills and sense are just artistic works. In the store, there are various kinds of sweets, including the winning bitter chocolate mousse "Ambroisy", as well as baked goods such as cookie "Fool Seck" and various pound cakes, and rich-tasting chocolates.
