Walk in the Ice Room

Concerts and individual lessons will be held for two weeks, inviting classical performers who are active in the world. It is known for its high-level and international music festivals, marking its 44th time in 2024. You can enjoy authentic classical music on a refreshing plateau and listen to gorgeous co-starring between famous musicians. Street corner concerts and concerts for children can be easily attended. The "Usuyu [Usuyu] festival", which began in the sense of thanking the hot springs, is performed annually as "Kusatsu Onsen Thanksgiving" due to the legend that bathing on the day of the Ox (around 2:00 a.m.) is a year-long disaster. It is centered on ceremonies such as the "Kenshō Oikumi no Yai" and "Kenshō no Yai no Yai", which are performed by the goddess and the priestess selected from among the townspeople and the white-cho. Sources such as the Shiraneyama Yukama, the west river, and the water field are pumped together in a single tub, and then the water is distributed to each district bathhouse to pray for the disease-free disaster of the visitors. * Partially private in 2024.
