Shikokoyu Hot Spring Ice Light Dream Prayer

1997年に始まったイベント。温泉街から湯端通りをぬけ、現世と浄土を繋ぐといわれる屋根付きの橋「五台橋」を通り、文殊堂の石段を上がって薬師堂まで、「氷灯ろう」のろうそくの火が幻想的に揺らめく。毎日16時30分からの点灯式には来場者も無料で参加できる(先着順)。もう一つの屋根付の橋「寺沢橋」から望む湯坂の風景も必見。氷灯ろうに願いをこめて自ら点灯する「夢祈願氷絵馬」も好評だ。氷絵馬700円は鹿教湯交流センターにて販売。
