
Tanate Flower Horse Festival
A lively festival celebrating a good harvest, family safety. Three Kiso horses, dressed in a saddle with flowers made of five colors of paper in the shape of Inaho, milled around from the Tanate station square to the Gongya shrine, with the lead of a flute or a drum. After the procession made three laps around the shrine's precincts, the people who were waiting for the flowers together. It is said that the flowers taken will be evil and insect repellent.
