「さくら名所100選」に選定されている松江城山公園。天守閣のある本丸は21時まで開放し、ぼんぼりや桜のライトアップで夜桜を楽しむことができる。

期間中は、茶店が出店し、公園内に提灯が点灯され、夜桜も楽しめる。

平安神宮の神苑内の茶室澄心亭にて、紅枝垂桜が見頃を迎える時期に茶会が開催される。9～16時頃。

In late March-early April, 200 cherry blossoms of about 15 species in the precincts are in full bloom one after another, and they are full of worshippers who also serve as flower viewing. Of the festivals held during the cherry blossom period, the Children's Health Prayer Festival, which is held on April 3 every year, includes children's tour of the city and children's dance in the dance hall. In addition, the Jinhua Festival on the 9th is held to pay for the disaster and the epidemic of coming through the wind that dissipates flowers.

約1kmの堤両脇に、約1000本のソメイヨシノが植えられており、満開の時期には桜のトンネルを歩くことができる。また、桜堤の隣には広大な菜の花畑がひろがり、桜のピンクと菜の花の黄色とのコントラストが楽しめる。なお県営権現堂公園では、桜の季節以外にも、あじさい1万株（6月）、曼珠沙華300万本（9～10月）も楽しめる。 画像提供：幸手市観光協会

桜まつり期間中、境内見どころ案内ツアー、カフェ、ショップでの桜関連商品の販売、最終日には甘茶のティーパックの配布などが楽しめる（予定）。

桜淵公園は、天竜奥三河国定公園の南玄関で、「三河の嵐山」といわれる県立自然公園。その名の示すとおり、「桜」と「淵」をもつ県下屈指の景勝地で、春は豊川の清流の両岸を約2000本の桜が爛漫［らんまん］と咲き乱れる。開催期間中は、さまざまなイベントが催される。 画像提供：新城市観光協会

期間中は会場内にて模擬店の出店もある。また、4月5日（土）にはソーラン山北よさこいフェスティバル2025も開催される。

境内の針供養塔前で古くなった針を供養する。11時～。法要の後、針のお納めとお焼香が行われる。善光寺の本堂は、元禄16年（1703）に徳川幕府が松代藩に命じて再建工事に取りかかり、宝永4年（1707）に完成したもので、江戸時代中期を代表する寺院建築として国宝に指定されている。
