The now wildly popular staconal masking tape. In fact, it was the beginning of the Okayama/Kurashiki manufacturer's arrangement of industrial tape for sundries. There are many shops in Kurashiki that treat them as souvenirs, but the "Nyochukudo" has a reputation for its assortment.

Long-established standing in Kurashiki beauty district where you can walk in town

The shops are located in the Kurashiki Mikan district, a popular tourist destination in Okayama, and the quaint townscape of the Kurashiki River, where willows swing, and old-fashioned buildings, is photogenic wherever you look.

Standing at the eastern end of Honmachi Street, which extends to the north side of the Kurashiki River, is Nyotake-do. Over 100 years since its inception, it now handles masking tape, as well as paper miscellaneous items such as notebooks and paper balloons, and has become a popular store visited by many female customers on a consecutive day.

Kurashiki's three major masking tape brands

In the store, there are a lot of products, mainly masking tape. What kind of masking tape is more than about 1100 kinds of fullness! It features items such as "Kurashiki Machiya Tape Production Committee", "mt", and "Kurashiki Design Planning Room" from the Kurashiki three major masking tape brands, and its wide selection is one of the top in Kurashiki. It is exactly the “sacred place of masking tape”. From cute designs to highly designed ones, it is inevitable to move to overwhelming types. The taste and color of the design are diverse, even the thickness. There are plenty of collaborative items with designers and writers, so there are no fans.

Attention is also paid to the patterns named after Okayama and Kurashiki; the upper is the Kurashiki Machiya tape at 471 yen, featuring the Kurashiki streetscape; and the lower is the Momotarō tape at 471 yen, which depicts a familiar story with adorable illustrations.

There is a free masking tape experience corner in the store

In the experience corner at the back of the store, you can choose a fan, or a paper bag, and enjoy a free decoration for 10 minutes on a piece of precared tape. On Saturdays and Sundays, you can choose can badges, hand boxes, and collection boxes (collection boxes are limited in quantity). Try to challenge with your favorite item. In addition, the free experience corner is the final reception at 17 o'clock.

Depending on the ingenuity, the usage is endless!

Masking tape that can be torn, pasted, peeled and written. The width of the arrangement will expand with a little ingenuity. With the purchased tape, first try to decorate the notebook, notes, stationery, etc. Of course, you can use sticky notes instead, and you can arrange clips and so on, so the desk is gorgeous!
